Spectacular hike, worth a try if you are close by. Can be done together with Snowdon Peak. Medium ascent. Need boots and a bit of effort up..

Once you’ve summited Snowdon, head south east along “Watkins” to traverse Y Lliwedd. You can take the low road path, south of the ridge, on swing left to scramble along the ridge (far more enjoyable!!). You then descend towards the lake to meet up with the Miners. Make sure you are well equipped with spare clothing, first aid, poles and a 1:25000 map.

Y Lliwedd is like a smaller, less scary version of crib Goch, great views, nice climb.
