Extremely popular car park. Direct access to miners track which leads to Snowdon summit. Limited spaces. I was fortunate to get in because one of the cars left while I was at the entry point. You have to come really early for a spot. There is a parking ticket machine which accept cards ( I think 10£ for entire day) and toilets nearby.
There are 3 trails from the car park exactly in right order for fitness levels.
Take the left one for easy hike down to the lake.
Middle track, has ups and downs but you get to see to lakes from above.
The 3rd trail will be more of a climb and scramble than a hike and its often covered in fog so have an mountain rescue helicopter on standby unless the weather is clear.
Walks are great, would reward you with great views. Parking is overpriced and always full. Two good routes up to the summit from here. If you don't find parking here, you can drive further and find parking elsewhere. And there could be cabs to take you up to this spot. However be prepared to pay hefty fares of £10 each way.
Fantastic walk! Dont expect an easy run though. As soon as you on that trail its steep from the off. Amazing views though and a really good walk highly recommended
Best views around. Can be hard to find a spot unless you arrive early. Make sure to use bins provided! My favourite cycle ride takes me up here and it feels like an achievement every time and worth it for the panorama and the ride back down!
