One of the best days out we spent in this area of Wales. The railway journey couldn't be more picturesque, travelling in a steam train. Fantastic views and walks as you stop off on the various stations along the track. After a look around, just pick up the next train at the station to move on. There's Dolgoch Waterfalls, woodland walks, wildlife and villages to see. Plenty of photo opportunities.

How friendly is this railway. Even before the day our ride was booked, I got to Tywyn early, and myself and pooch had breakfast here. On the day of our train ride the guard came back with a packet of dog treats plus a poo bag(great idea) for my dog, know this was in the covid social distancing limits, but brilliantly managed by all the staff, thankyou. The journey was lovely, we actually drove to the various stations the day before as covid prevented any stops by the train on the day except either end. Highly recommend you support this railway, we were on a campsite next to the line and saw all the engines going back and forth.

Amazing trip. Started at the cafe which was fantastic and very good value. The train ride was awesome and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back again

Great experience climbing up with amazing view . Being autumn colours were glorious. Good to see the enthusiasm of the staff. Nice Cream at the top.
