The climbing was very slippery faces with sharp edges, but the routes were pretty cool due to the fact that you can only go about it a certain way. There were lots of caves and many teirs to explore, just be safe accessing some of the crags, as they sometimes require you to scramble round a corner with a sheer drop to your right.

Just a great wonderland of opportunities for adventure and mischief, climbing, walking, , dog walking mountain biking , so many ways to enjoy this place, but safely obviously.

No matter how good of a photo you take here it never truly shows or justifies what your eyes have just seen. The beauty is left impressed into your mind as you take in the natural beauty of this abandoned slate quarry. It's full of natural and man-made history. and as you walk the paths you can't help but imagine what it would have been like to see this quarry operating back in the 60's While there are what seems like a lot of fences keeping you to a strict path it is very easily to bypass these systems and go and have a Wonder off the beaten track. Which is obviously as your discretion and at your own risk
