In the middle of renovation but already looks so much better, all the dodgy old stuff and people have been removed and tidied up. Lake is looking lovely and lots of wild flowers by the paths. Once all the new community spaces and playing areas are done it will be 5 star worthy I'm sure

Don't know what 'pleasure' you could get from here. Its a park. Few activities for the kids. No pond at the moment due to it being emptied out. But nice enough

On initial impressions the place felt a little run down, sad and tired-looking. The children's play area we were impressed with, as it was very spacious, and had a lot of play equipment, for children of all ages to play on. However the maintenance and upkeep of the area was very lacking, for example the roundabout, no child could push round and round, and even for a fully grown adult, a lot of exertion was required! Also there was a fair amount of leaves from last autumn that were very noticeable on the ground. Then we went for a walk around the lake, and it was very sad to see a lot of things that had been active in the past, now looking very derelict ☹. In summary we did think that improvements needed to be made, but we did have an enjoyable and pleasant time at the park.

I think it's in a period of transition as the old buildings have been removed. Can't wait to see what replaces them to make this place even more amazing.

It's a shadow of its former self. The council have run down the park, removed all of the attractions and now stands derelict. Recent lake renovation is lovely and starting to grow but marred by toxic pollution flowing into the lake via a culvert from the adjacent industrial estate. Wildlife killed. Fingers crossed the council do the full restoration as promised without developing any of the land.
