The Catholic Church in Morfa Nefyn is no more. Built in 1968 there is no longer a sufficient congregation and it is closed and soon to be demolished to make way for a new development.
The church had some fine work by the artist Jonah Jones including 12 stained glass windows and an impressively large mosaic which stood behind the main alter. Fortunately all have been rescued and are to be installed in other places at the behest of the Wrexham Diocese, the original commissioner and owner of these artworks.
