Unbelievable revues. I insured with KGM in January this year. A good quote for my Mercedes 320i coupe. The reviews proves rhe point that you can't please all the people all the time. LV are useless. Nasty Durect Line the same. Be Wiser. I was that's why i went with KGM. Holding breath for next years cost.

I'm keyworker on my way back home some guy hit me on roundabout , the car was taken by insurance against me to own secret location 90 miles away from my house , after fev weeks they find out that I have Feb miles to much they finish with me . I ask them for my car they don't want return me car , and ask me for money for keeping etc. After hours and days I get where car is located and I went collect , my car was more damage after keeping him like from accident , they lies that is my fault and everything possible ,the damages are over 3k they just wash hands and blame me . I spend a month over phone milions emails all for nothing , if u will have something to do with them they cryminals more like insurance company, horrible experience ,

KGM claim to pay market value minus excess for a total loss claim. This is not the reality. For my claim against the theft of my BMW 330D, they offered me £12200 for a car that will cost me £15000 to replace and that was insured for £18000. They will not look at similar vehicles on Auto Trader or take into account the mountain of evidence I collated and tabulated for easy comparison. They only use the lowest value from Glasses Guide, and claim that the list of top spec factory options have zero impact on value. Once again the insurance companies win, the thieves get away with a telling off, and the honest law abiding citizen gets shafted from every angle.

What a horrible company to deal with. My claim theft claim was rejected as KGM claimed I hadn’t taken reasonable precautions to protect my vehicle. This was because I was advised to recode my vehicle which was done but was stolen prior to the appointment. KGM were made fully aware of this plus I submitted various bits of proof including confirmation from my dealership that the vehicle had been booked in. Nonetheless my claim was rejected. Cut a very long story short the case went to the FO who’s investigator decided in my favour however again KGM refused to accept the decision and requested an ombudsman make a final decision. Well today that decision came through in my favour and now is final. I will be calling KGM shortly for settlement. My advice is stay away from an issuer like this who despite the evidence put in front of them, look to decline a claim for purpose of not paying up. Absolutely disgusting.
