Great place. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Their opening times are presently reduced, so check ahead. They also have an online app so you can get your book ready to be collected.
Love reading so being able to borrow books for free is fantastic! Romford Library has such a massive collection and can get the books in that you want pretty easily.
Romford library has very restricted opening times at the moment and I believe it's closed 3 days a week. As you enter there will be a member of staff who will ask you to wear a face mask and sign a track and trace form.
Once you're inside, the place is very empty. There's a one-way system to browse books, the computer's appear to be closed at the moment and no access to the toilets. Furthermore from what I can see you're not allowed to sit down and do any sort of work at the desks.
Apart from this Romford library has a very good selection of books and the staff are friendly and helpful if you need help with finding a book or ordering one.
Best blessed library in the best public library system in London! They made it up really cool for their reopening, with a one-way traffic system, lots of staff to help one out and plenty of sanitising gel and wipes. Very Covid-safe! If you live in Havering you must join, and if you're just passing through with a bit of time to spare, you must visit!
Lovely staff so helpful. I go there rather then Dagenham library.
