Amazing get away from it all holiday cottage. An ancient cottage restored from farm buildings with original features of enormous inglenook fireplace and the old narrow spiral stone staircase going up to bedrooms on first floor. Anyone wanting modern city mod cons should not come. Anyone wanting country life will be amazed at how comfort can be had in an ancient building that has been beautifully, sympathetically restored to also provide modern facilities of bathroom, toilet and running water. A good little kitchen is perfect for the cottage whose main feature is the living room where everyone has space to congregate. WiFi and mobile phone coverage is, as to be expected, rural. Sometimes good but also sometimes poor. Adequate rather than City 4G but you come here for a rural break in N Wales and the countryside location and cottage are ideal for this.

Spent a wonderful Christmas in this cosy warm and comfortable cottage. All modcons - high speed wifi. Everything we needed and more.

Stayed at smaller cottage week 7th July. Was cold when we arrived and asked for central heating to be put on and were told by owners it was July, so no heating, only log fire. WIFY disappeared on day 2, seemed to be connected to main house, not sure if switched off by owner, no good if you want to work whilst on holiday. Water supply very weak and shower dribbled water, we had to kneel in bath to get wet, with shower held by hand over head. Stair case was very narrow to upstairs and treacherous, slippy, low, narrow. beds comfortable, only one toilet, which doesn't afford much privacy. Property off the beaten track.
