A proper great little park. The impressive Whalebones are worth a visit at least once in your life.

Nice park or is it private land as someone put a lock on the Gates. I heard that it was sold to private developers, how nasty to build on beautiful land.

This isn’t actually a ‘park’ and is actually private land. So I’m not sure why it’s called a park. But part of it is used by local groups, like beekeepers so if you want to go in either make friends with the residents or look at local groups in the area. You can’t see much of the green area but you can see the whalebone arch fairly easily along the north side. It’s quite thick with foliage and moss but it’s pretty obvious where it is. It marks the entrance to the home of the people who live here and dates to the 1930s replacing a previous set of whale bones.
