A pleasant open air space, suitable for a gentle walk, or a more extensive ramble. It follows the river Cray which runs from the Sidcup end, in the direction of Bexley. At about the mid-point, the river opens up into a small lake, with the 5 Arches Bridge at the down stream end. The whole area is supposed to be a nature reserve, but there are occasional anglers and some careless dog owners who pay no attention to the clearly posted regulations. A very pleasant spot when not crowded, less so when invaded by large family parties holding noisy barbecues, usually at a weekend. I suggest a visit during a weekday, and assess the area for yourself.

Lovely place with lots of different areas, including woods, open fields, river and lake. Amazing wild life to be seen. But extremely muddy with only one path, that doesn't go very far.

Brilliant place to take the dog. Our puppy loved it. Lots of space and a stream for the dog to play in.

Lovely large parkland area with beautiful trees and a river. Great place to let your dog off the leash.

I love this open space, largest in Bexley borough.Great for walks or jogging. Some very nice green bits & also muddy rugged bits - very natural & stripped back.A lovely river, gorgeous ducks, impressive little bridge.Lots of faintly sign posted paths....don't get lost!!!😁
