A thoroughly decent Marks and Spencer. Shelves nearly always well stocked, a great range of fresh bread. The self checkouts do glitch quite a bit.
Although it has very basic stuff, I wasn't able to find products I buy from other M&S Foodhall.
I walked in this morning to buy a croissant and was shocked to see the baker using their bare hands to place pastries into bags. This should not happen in normal circumstances, let alone during a pandemic!
Amazing local supermarket. Clean and not as expensive as you think
Top notch staff. As always in any busy place staff may be caught on the back heel at the self checkouts due to customer loading, but they are friendly and helpful. Sometimes customers queue jump from the wrong end of the self checkouts needs keeping an eye on. M&S you got a good crew there methinks.
