I absolutely love Fortnum and Mason afternoon tea. This was our second visit and this was an offer of Take a friend for free.
Of cores, I snapped it up and booked.
Everyone else had the same idea and it was incredibly busy, more than I had ever seen it, so, unfortunately, the service was not on point as before.
I can't not give it 5 stars though because the sandwiches, scones and cakes are beautiful.
All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. I love the beautiful tableware and the silver cutlery, and bone china cups.
How can you not give it 5 stars?
More art installation than shop, absolutely immaculate and beautifully presented. Every item looked like it could be given to loved one's as a present. Fabulous collection of treats, from chocolate to whiskey. Cannot fault it in any way. You just know that if you get someone a present from here the usual reaction is "Ooooohh Posh". Go ahead spoil a friend, or yourself.
Ms Fatima was extremely helpful today. It is always a lovely experience shopping at this particular store.
Always happy when I pop in. Friendly and helpful staff. Can't wait for my next visit.
Great customer service and lovely shop. However, there is a plastic shield in front of cashier to avoid covid19 spread but no holes to place products so cashier had to keep going round the side of the shield to speak to us and handle our goods. Is there any point in having it?
