Covid safety in place. Limited number of people allowed inside. Contact tracing enabled. One doesn't need to spend time in returning books, the staff would collect them in the box and do the returns.
This is a medium size library. It is normally packed on weekdays. On weekend it's slightly less busy. But there are quite few areas you can pick for your study. There's study area with tables and chairs inside the library as well as inside the main building too. The study section with table and chairs do have plug socets for your to charge your laptop or other gadgets. There is WiFi, you will need to get password for it from front desk. There's shops and cafe nearby, if you need to grab lunch or drinks too.
If you tell customers to wait in line and your not going to serve them at least reassure them that someone will be with them soon instead of leaving them there for a long period of time. Just my only frustration with being at that library.
Love the fact it's open so early on a Sunday. I work doing home care so often have gaps, absolutely no where to go apparatus from over priced coffee shops. Great choice of books, almost always find what I'm looking for. Unfortunately it can be loud on some occasions n there are some with a serious lack of personal hygiene, had to get up n move a few times. I don't get much time for reading but whenever I got time I go to the library closest to my next client.
Good.. don't have great collections.
