The admin staff, Civil Track team, in the Croydon County Court, are extremely efficient courteous and deal with matters with every sense of urgency. Whenever I sent an email, I get a polite acknowledgment. Recently, I needed a copy of an order from the court as my solicitors could not find the original nor a copy. I simply quoted the claim number and I received a reply very quickly. I told them that I needed a copy urgently to file in time for a case review. They sent me a copy by email straight away and three sealed copies in the post. I am very grateful for your kind attention and assistance in dealing with my request. Thank you very much.
After making 2 applications to court in February I recieve my hearing date in June for August for a remote hearing, after long waits on phone lines and many emails with no response ever recieved I find out two hrs before my hearing after ringing them (they didn't contact me) that my hearing adjourned with no reason given. Have put in complaint with no response. Really fill let down and upset that it could be many weeks or months before hearing rescheduled.
Recently ( before Clovid 19 ) a family member of mine had to use the family court. At all times my family member, indeed myself too, had nothing but good treatment from everyone, from door security through to the cafe staff, but especially the judges, and all staff involved in the case. Feels almost like people are complaining about a different place, was my family just lucky, or were these people sadly treated in a bad way? When you use a court, in any way, you need to feel safe and happy, and it's terrible people are suffering like this. I hope the people who have had a bad experience wont let this put them off of using croydon. But, someone does need to deal with this, to ensure no one else feels like this

I have been waiting for a hearing for over 18 months since I started my claim , which gave the defendant plenty of time to escape physically from his debts. They never explained why it took so long. Maybe because of their laziness and incompetence for a long long time?
In addition, you will get NO help, No useful information, No human polite from this court.
