We had several items of jewellery and watches taken care of by these jewellers and are over the moon with everything. I had a very old watch of my mothers repaired and my husband had two watches repaired and straps changed. We had stones reset, new diamonds sourced and fitted and absolutely everything looked stunning, like brand new jewellery!!! Very reasonable prices and friendly service. Would definitely use again and recommend to friends and family.

Do not take anything of value to this repair shop, shoddy workmanship, no customer service, and no understanding of the value of jewellery. My engagement ring needed resizing and sadly a family member recommended this shop. Firstly the ring was not ready on time, secondarily the central diamond was loose (they claimed the claws had been 'caught' in the polishing machine), thirdly a side diamond was missing (which they didn't even notice, I had to return to the shop a THIRD time to get this reset). Not even a hint of apology for the fact I had to return to the shop three times or that they had lost a diamond in an expensive ring (let alone any kind of refund for the bad job they had done). UPDATE: To answer your question, no I am not satisfied with the ring. I had a ring that I thought was perfect and loved wearing. I now have a ring that I am scared to wear, as I am scared that more stones will fall out due to your poor workmanship. I was given no proof that the stone that was replaced was actually the diamond in there previously, I was not given any information about how the stone was reset, and whether this was suitable (particularly worrying as another man in the shop suggested they send the ring to their 'diamond setter' but the other person just did it). 2nd UPDATE: To respond to your reply, yet again, I will correct you on a number of your wrongly stated points below: - Whether you think my worries are ‘simply worries’ or not, they are worries that are there because of your shoddy workmanship. - I came back to the shop 7 days after dropping the ring off, I was told when I first dropped the ring off that you would have it ready in 7 days as the maximum (the gentlemen that took the ring actually said if I had come in twenty minutes earlier they could have resized it the same day). I returned 15 minutes earlier than the time I had dropped the ring off, 7 days later, so the ring should have been ready within 15 minutes as a maximum as per the information you had given me. You told me that other customers had been wanting their jewellery early so you had done theirs first, I had come at the time you had stated and yet my jewellery was not ready. - When I was in the shop for the first of my three visits, I had told you that I was supposed to be going straight to work. When you said the ring was not going to be ready, I told you that I would have to cancel my shift therefore you claiming you were ‘thinking about me going to work’ is a false statement and shows you didn’t bother listening to your customer. - Your claim that you ‘dropped everything to make sure my ring was right within 30 minutes’ is ridiculous. You were presented with a ring that was perfect except needing to be slightly resized, you had seven days to repair it, and returned a ring that had one loose diamond and one missing diamond, neither things you bothered checking. - Your last point that ‘you had every customer wanting their items repaired ASAP due to the lockdown measures being put back in place’ is also surprising, as you asked me multiple times if I could return later in the week as you were staying open after the 2nd lockdown. And finally as far as you thinking I will ‘look back and realise you didn’t do anything wrong’ is quite simply worrying, the fact that you are unable to acknowledge the number of things you did wrong and just apologise them speaks volumes, and I’m sure will discourage any other customers from using your services far more than a negative review.
