Acton Mosque

Year 2020, Due to covid-19, the masjid has put in place rigorous protocols for the congeration pray. Always check website before going to masjid.

The Imam (so I've been told by the congregation on 24th Nov 2020) or the key man is an agent..a covid agent! I was travelling through this area and it was time for Isha so i found this masjid on google and made my way. Upon arriving at 7.00pm sharp i found a well constructed brick and iron perimeter fence and i could not find a way in as all gates and entrances seemed to be pad locked. I can hear the jamaat in progress which i believe literally just started and i could see the brothers praying through windows but it was hopeless as the masjid was fortified well. Anyway i still had to pray so i decided to wait it was freezing cold and i only had a light top on and my car was parked far away as it was a high street. When the jamaat finished people started to come out and they could not leave and that's when i was told the imam has the key and he will open it. Anyway those brothers i believe regular congregation attendees where baffled like me why the door needs to be locked and lovely brothers may Allah reward them comforted me with a hadith reminder that i will get the reward with jamaat for coming. The imam or the key man took his time and it seemed like he prayed all his sunnah's before coming to let his congregation out who where by now agitated and yelling for him whilst standing around in freezing temperatures. When the imam or the key man came a brother asked on my behalf and also i made a attempt to come in and the imam or the key man asked if i had a prayer mat of which i replied no he then said sorry can't let you in and smirked 'forgive me'. Oh please really?. Another brother offered me his prayer mat may Allah reward them Ameen, but i declined and left. I would never leave a review on masjids but this behaviour needs to be called out.

Decent mosque, need more activities for youth and lastly they weren't able to solve my family problems.

This Masjid is a beautiful and clean place for worship or pray with full facilities and helpful cumitty members i love come here for pray.
