Argos Chiswick in Sainsburys Superstore

The most dismissing, aggressive, vile, irresponsible & unhelpful staff (specially the manager) you could ever imagine in retail! The kind of manager who invited her staff to come at us (I'm heavily pregnant & almost too physically tired to argue with 4 intimidating persons) all at the same time refusing to refund a faulty item!! Even though we had guarantee & were within the warranted period! I did not need such a stressful day considering my pregnancy... They wanted to force us to have repair done instead & when we said no, the manager just walked away shouting & pointing her figure at us that that was all she could do & said if we didn't want a repair, we had to take it to another Argos store to get a refund!!! If terms & conditions make customers entitled to their consumer rights, who is she to refuse & breach these rights?! Why there's no supervision on how managers cheat & intimidate customers! Her treatment was absolutely personal & clearly just because she didn't like a loss to her store funds at the end of the day, but Argos has to know how actions of one single manager can put off 10s of customers buying anything from this company! If T&C are there to follow, why she changes them according to her own taste?! I will not recommend this store to anyone, instead I strongly recommend collecting & buying from other branch (if you ever had to buy from Argos) which is located in Lower Richmond Rd's Sainsbury's... They have a lovely team, specially Brendon the Manager who made our Christmas Eve by being so professional & kind. Avoid Chiswick High Rd Argos!

I bought a set of pots 2 weeks ago, the non-stick pot starts to stick food on it, after a hard wash. I went to return it. The store manager told me she can not find anything on it, I told them I washed it off. Then they told me I can not get it refunded, I asked them if I can bring it back with the food stick on it to show you. They told me I have to contact manufactury to solve the problem. What a perfect logic. I was asking the name of the manager and the manager just ignored me with a weird smile.OK, I will report it to trading standard also ombudsman.

Very bad customer service. Avoid this store. I was in the store today and a cashier refused refund request . I went to another Argos store and I received full refund without questions ask. Absolutely disgusting and poor customer service.

If you ever need to be offended, disrespected & your customer rights to be violated by an aggressive lady manager who refuses to tell anyone her name and thinks that she outsmarts everyone by not accepting returns, then go there! Otherwise avoid at all costs, MAYBE then you wouldn't promise yourself that you'll never ever buy again from Argos!

Very bad customer service, specially by the manager Nicole who comes across as unkind. I left there with a sense of almost being bullied in a passive aggressive way when trying to make my view and trying to return a product and being talked by three members of staff, all at the same time. What a great shame for Argos.
