We went during the afternoon today and there were a lot of people. However there was enough space between people so not a problem. Limited car parking space so plan the journey. Some parking meters were not taking coins and the card payment was not working. The mobile app or telephone service is available. Don't be tempted to park on the grass verge on approach to car park as we saw lots of cars with penalty notices! Only one cafe on site with lots of people queuing for hot food and coffee! Ice cream van was around as well. Several toilets were available though. Saw some people wild swimming though the lake was fenced off in parts. Good for kids of all ages as there is a playground for younger kids and also climbing area for junior aged kids. Best time will be morning and early afternoon. Gets busy after that.

Absolutely beautiful park. I went with my grandson and he had so much fun in the woods I literally had to drag him out of there as it was getting dark. Will definitely be going back for more grandma grandson exploring fun.

lovely park, i absolutely love the regeneration that has been done over the past few years. wonderful facilities such as a playground, bar and mansion house used for a variety of events throughout the year. has beautiful grounds and walking routes for everyone. such a lovely gem in lewisham :)

Had a lovely afternoon in the park, until I got back to the car, about 50 cars parked on the verge and all with tickets, including mine and the car park was totally full! Fine is £110. No warning signs

First time with my daughter and grandchildren and my dog lady had lovely time big place parking bit expensive but getting like that everywhere.. was nice to get a drink at the end and food if you want too... no picture was all taken on my daughters phone sorry
