Phoned them to enquire about my phone assessment, and the man that answered the call was so obnoxious, I understand services are a bit stretched during this time, but still a bit of curtesy goes a long way.

To be honest I wasn't looking forward to coming here after seeing the reviews Had to wait 30 minutes extra today but on seeing Chris the back specialist at midday made it worthwhile Really nice guy Thank you

I've been interviewed twice here for my ESA assessment and both times I've been very impressed with both the reception staff and the young women who interviewed me. Despite being extremely busy, the people on reception were efficient and friendly, and both my interviewers were kind and well educated. How different it was from my first Atos 'interview' in Neasden in 2011 in which a young guy who, although friendly, just asked me a bunch of loaded questions about what I could physically do and the minutiae of my day and then took no notice of what I said about my experience of having depression and anxiety. These women fully listened to and understood me and felt like they were on my side much more. I still had to endure the laborious questions but at least I felt I'd been really heard. I filled in my travel expenses form before the interview and handed it to reception and they didn't even want my ticket as proof. I got my refund within a couple of weeks.

Be aware of them ask for recording assessment they are bunch of Liars and my advice to you ask your GP for Health report because they won't check your record. Take someone with you and don't be shy act like you are having the worst day. And don't do any movements that will cause you are a pain worse because if you do the movements, they will write you are functioning normally. Be clear when they ask you for movements. Say it in a loud voice so it can be recorded that you can't do this movement because you will have pain.

I had my ESA assessment at this location in 2012 and was treated with hostility by the person who assessed me. I had about 100 ulcerated blisters on my body at the time and had to PROVE it to the nurse who assessed me! I was placed in the work programme and spent 2 years appealing it but was ignored by the absolutely shambolic DWP . Eventually ICE upheld my complaint but some 2 years and a lot of stress later. dont even get me started on the Work Programme - a4e did everything to obstruct me in my quest for self employment. but that is another topic for another day. The staff were blatantly hostile. there is no respect for claimants. The other assessments that I had in previous years were very brutal at other locations. I am advised that there is surveillance. at all times and certainly an element of mistrust to the point of hostility for some This organisation has a very callous history brutalising claimants. I have had to challenge their spurious, duplicitous and, on occasion outrageous actions/modus operandi. If you have an assessment with this umbrella organisation (CHDA, IAS or ATOS) then under no circumstances attend without proper representation and make notes or record the assessment. There are plenty of youtube channels advising you on how to fight your corner if necessary. Make sure you understand what the criteria actually is that you are being measured against. Make no mistake this organisation earns substantial profits from denying claimants PIP or ESA
