Communication was terrible, asked for the same information over and over, sounded absolutely gutted every time I rang them that they had to answer the phone... Luckily was able to deal with the landlord directly instead and sort everything without an issue. If you a landlord please avoid using this company.

Terrible terrible company! Unfortunately Openrent use these people as a partner so no choice but to use them. Two representatives failed to understand my very basic issue regarding tenant referencing. After 30minutes on hold, the second representative proceeded to hang up on me after saying "Ok, one second". Pathetic.

Irresponsible company. Almost ruined my life, certainly ruined my week. Rentguard provided my landlord with inaccurate and unverified information about us and our guarantors. We had to call many times to get failed reports amended. They used wrong names in credit checks. They failed credit checks before they had even reached the recipient. We spent five solid days filing paperwork back-and-forth on the phone which began feeling like a costly, time consuming and seemingly endless nightmare. Not something you want to have to deal with when moving house. If you use Rentguard it will be up to you to remedy these situations before your application gets rejected by your landlord. We were lucky enough to be in direct contact with ours in order to ease their concern. Although i’m not sure any letting agent would be as patient. I sincerely urge you to not get involved with Rentguard.

**LANDLORDS LOOK ELSEWHERE!** will pretty much make tenants homeless because they are incapable of doing their reference checks correctly. Terrible over intrusive service.
