Visited the store a couple of weeks ago to pick a watch for my misses with the help from the staff recommendations, i chose the piece i liked a stunning Tudor. Upon having a chat about a few other brands Lee the manager was extremely patient and helpful with my questions. He let me try on a Sea-Dweller which i just couldnt leave without. Top staff, top service, highly recommended!
Items on site are over-priced. Found a ring I liked from Gucci - Goldsmiths charging £770 - in comparison to Gucci at £700 and Beaverbrooks at £665. When I emailed about their "Price Promise", i was told it did not apply as the other sites were not offering delivery within 3 days. Are you kidding . . . I'm paying up to £100 more to get this item a few days earlier. Completely ridiculous - and misleading "promise". Shopping now on the other sites as it seems Goldsmiths are just increasing their prices to rob customers.
The team at Watford really make you feel valued and welcome. We have spoken to a few staff members and always feel like we are wanted in their shop. Big cudos to the whole team!
I am a Goldsmith's customer for nearly about 15 years and I have no hesitation in saying that the service I have received is top class, manager of this branch Lee is an amazing chap and extremely helpful over the years. I known him for about 12 or 13 years and always very helpful!
