Swan Pharmacy

After visiting the pharmacy for some eye drops and being told my daughter was too young to use over the counter drops, I got in touch with my GP who prescribed the drops electronically. Having done this many times before and being told by the Pharmacy that the GP had not sent anything I decided to call before making the trip, however they did not answer the phone. As it was NY eve and my child had an eye infection I obviously rushed on down to the pharmacy to find a woman being served at the door. They wouldn't even let her in and once I arrived they locked the doors and began mouthing through the window. After she left and I began knocking, here they come with their sign "due to unforeseen circumstances we are closing at 5pm. Google stated they were open until 6pm and I got there minutes befor 5pm. Not once did they acknowledge me and left my hind at the door whilst they got ready to leave. I could not believe it so I knocked several times but they continued to shut everything down, preparing to leave and ignore me. L I decided to mouth from outside, stating I just wanted my daughters prescription and after some time a gentleman came to the window mouthing that they had closed. I really didn't care and asked for my daughters prescription which he eventually pushed through the crack of the door. Thank God I have a car but what about the people who don't drive. I ended up going to London Road Pharmacy where I was able to get my daughter drops and a few other items as the products were not overpriced like the Swan. I find the front desk staff to be rude and unprofessional and dislike the fact they request your personal data in front of everyone, ignoring General Data Protection Regulations.

Useless. Called ahead to check my prescription was available to collect and was told yes. Got there and picked up what I thought was my prescription. Got home to find out it wasn't. They refused to deliver the outstanding item and suggested I sent a taxi to collect it. Needless to say I will not be using them again. Disgraceful and pathetic.

Very unhelpful. Sent by my GP who thought they opened til 18:30 to get emergency medication. Got there 18:15. Stood knocking the door and was completely ignored as they apparently close at 18:00. They all looked at me and continue what they were doing. Rudeness personified.

I'm very upset to find such bad reviews for swan pharmacy and the way that they are coping with covid 19, this pharmacy has been a lifeline for many people, always the staff are friendly, helpful and offer great advice if needed, I am upset by some peoples ignorance during this pandemic, if you know u have to sign for prescriptions take a pen with you, swan can only provide so many pens bacteria free!!!!, us your own common sense wear gloves, wash your hands when u get home etc, these people are among our frontliners be respectful as to the amount of protection they can offer, it must be very difficult, just be a little more understanding, you customers are the ignorant ones if you cant keep yourself safe and clean, stop complaining and take into consideration how many people walk through that door, big clap to swan pharmacy, keep up the excellent service you provide
