Lovely cabins; simple, warm and cosy. Really well-stocked in terms of kitchenware. Comfortable bedrooms and sitting room areas. Watch out for large potholes on the internal roads - drive carefully to avoid grounding.

I loved it here. They really know what they are doing; they have a great system and a fantastic location. The staff are really helpful and the food is great. There are plenty of brilliant tracks for both cycling and walking in the nearby area of ranging difficulties. Each cabin comes with a high quality hot-tub and a fantastic patio area. It is probably not the best location for long stays however I would highly recommend this location for anyone wanting a mini-break in the forest.

What a fabulous holiday ! Well spaced out cabins in a great place where there is lots of walks. Food delivery to your cabin with a great menu. Staff friendly and helpful

Our Silver Birch, 3 bedroom cabin was in a iddilic and relaxing location, we didn’t feel looked upon even though there were cabins surrounding us. Check in was easy and Covid secure, the team explaining everything easily to us. The Forest Holiday team were happy to help with any of our queries. The cabin itself was a little tired looking, it needs a little bit of a refresh with paint and furnishings, some of the tiles in the bathroom were broken around the bath and the shower door was a little mouldy in parts, the doors had areas of wear and tear. We had a little trouble with the oven, the pictures on the dials had worn away, which meant we had trouble cooking and could not locate the manuals. The hot tub was great, it was maintained daily. The space was great, we never felt on top of each other especially as we have two under 12 months and a dog. Overall a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to friends and family! We like it so much we have booked another cabin next year!
