My 2year old son started this nursery at the beginning of the year and it's the most amazing nursery me and my wife have been too. When we came to visit the nursery the staff were very welcoming and me and my wife were able to go upstairs to talk with the deputy manager and leave our son downstairs to play. The deputy manager was lovely and very accommodating to our needs, we also got to meet the manager of the nursery who was very welcoming and offered support were we needed it. We instantly new that this was the nursery we wanted for our son. Since he has been at first steps his confidence has grown and he is developing very well and at the end of the day the girls will always let us know how his day has been and what he has done. Our son can't wait to go to nursery in the morning and will walk straight in and go of and play which is so reassuring for me and my wife and if we have any queries the girls are always there to help. I would highly recommend this nursery if they want a happy place with lovely staff who care about the children's needs.

My child has attended first steps for the past 8 months. During this time the staff , deputy and the manager have been extremely supportive with my child’s needs. She is monitored carefully in order to support her development, they constantly keep me up to date with her day and other important matters. My daughter really enjoys attending and always looks forward to going and has made great developmental progress since she has attended. I would definitely recommend this nursery !

My son attended this nursery and I couldn’t have been anymore happier with the support and effort the staff had offered out with his time at nursery! Staff were very polite and gave the time of day for me as a parent, never had any problems:) my son came home everyday very happy and was more than happy to attend every morning.. highly recommend this place!

First Steps held a tea party on Friday to celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan. The afternoon was lovely all the children had all their homemade crowns and the prize giving was great. I have to say Shannon has always been great and since they have employed new staff and a deputy manager the nursery is heading in a better direction

My 22 month old daughter has been attending this nursery for around 7 months and she absolutely loves it! Everyday i ask if she wants to go to nursery and she cant wait to get there. When i drop her off, she doesn't even say goodbye to me as she is so excited and happy to see the staff and her nursery friends. The staff are kind and helpful and if i have any issues, they are soon rectified. Yes she has the occasional small accident or bruise but that is quite normal with a bunch of kids playing together. My daughter could count to 10 at 16 months and now knows the full alphabet and her colours. I don't believe the staff mistreat the children and as long as my daughter is happy, so am I .
