As a mum of one of G4’s junior students, all I can say is – wow!! Vicki, Mike and Jimmy have more than adapted to online teaching – they’ve totally smashed it! G4 has been by far the most valuable and impressive provision for my son during lockdown, fantastic job Vicki, thank you!! P.S. You were all amazing before lockdown too!

I had guitar lessons when I was a teenager for a few years then dropped it and just played guitar casually. 10-odd years later I wanted to get back into lessons and developing my technique and theory. Vicki's classes have been genuinely fantastic for this so far - have done everything from chord theory, scales, how to slide, and song-writing theory. Mixed in with this are the jam sessions and showcases, which are a huge, huge bonus as there really is nothing like playing live with a band! All in all, it's exactly what I've been looking for, and there is good range of start times for lessons each week (I usually go on my lunch break, but if I miss one there are evening sessions and Saturday classes).

Have always loved my lessons with Vicki, they are well thought out and prepared and Vicki always keeps them engaging and fun. She makes sure to engage with each and every student individually and addresses their questions as best as she can. The lessons are quite varied too, from the simplest of strumming exercises to blues lessons, scales, note and chord naming, etc. Always varied and always fun. Highly recommended by me.

Vicki and her team have created an excellent learning environment for beginners. My son, 9, looks forward to his weekly guitar lesson. He knows it will be a fun and encouraging atmosphere. They are sensitive to the kids' interests - last month they learnt the Star Wars theme music! We also appreciate the option to attend jam sessions and workshops.
