The ordering process on their website is relatively easy, straight forward and user friendly. The issues come after the order has been submitted. They contract their installation to a company called PowerEV and this is where the issues started. Their communication, attitude and customer service is lacklustre. I even attempted to reach out to their CEO on LinkedIn (Erik Fairbairn) and guess what, no response. This really says it all they a CEO doesn’t care about his customers. My installation was more than the standard 15 meters that you get included with your order. The quote for the additional cabling was extortionate so be aware as they don’t tell you these prices up front. They charge £15-£18 per metre which according to other competitors, is expensive. I had to contact my credit card to get a refund of my order as the communication just stopped. I ordered in September 2020 and still hadn’t got and installation date by mid December. Stay away!!

I have phoned Pod Point multiple times in the last few weeks due to issues with their public charge points. Nobody ever answers and most recently the phone just rings and then cuts off. Terrible experience.

We have been trying to install our pod to no avail! Prior to the first appointment, we sent relevant photos across and they had brought the wrong parts. Then it took them a few weeks to get back to us about more availability and now no one has turned up. Furthermore there is no one we can speak to as it is the weekend. If I had to sum them up in one word it would be......UNRELIABLE!

Avoid. Don’t care about customers. Woeful customer service. The my took my money and stopped responding to emails. You ring up and get put through to a mailbox which no one returns your message. The ordering process is broken and I’m left £600 down and no service or method to charge my car. What use is an electric car in your driveway with no charger. They just don’t care. Now I’ll have to go via the credit card to get my money back.

Have had the PodPoint charging unit for 14-15 months now. Initial ordering and install was quick and painless. Had an issue after approx. 9 months that was painful to get resolved i.e. you need to jump through a lot of hurdles to get somebody out to fix the issue (Apparently contractor who did initial install weakened RCD which subsequently broke or to be more correct melted). Fix was done by PodPoint employee whose service I cannot fault when he arrive to fix. They need to do some work to a) improve their customer services and b) ensure 3rd party installers do a better job
