Great to have a 1st rate decorators shop in Whitechapel. The manager was so helpful taking time to advise me to find my colour mix, finishes, & coverage. Well stocked & orderly products. Highly recommend.

Wanted to get supplies for painting outdoor wooden stairs. Staff were really helpful with advice on how to do it, and what sorts of paints to use. And the result has turned out really well. Would definitely recommend

Bought the Albany white gloss. To my horror when I opened it the colour was greeny/blue when it was supposed to be brilliant white. Called the store and the guy (with the big beard I think) goes "never judge a paint by its initial colour" it should turn white once dry. Thought he was talking bull, but still tried it. Was furious when I saw that it didn't turn white after a day. But after a day and a half as if by magic turned out white and had a great finish. So the guy in store did know what has taking about. Lesson: Indeed never judge a paint by its initial colour and never judge a person by their beard length! Not sure why it's greenish though, perhaps to see coverage when painting over white. Thanks guys

I bought Dulux white matt trade 7.5L at good value for money,but after I returned for masking tape another morning was offered italian " high quality" masking tape for 11£ each,which even didn't perform well as prodec tape for 4 quid. Also I did apply for trade card in store and was told that will receive an email confirmation when the account is active,nothing happened yet,now is about 3 weeks from then...
