I have used this dry cleaners consistently for over 10 years & have never had an issue - until now!
I took a reasonably expensive Vivienne Westwood thin knit jumper in to be dry cleaned with 3 other similar items. When I went to wear it subsequently, it had shrunk to approximately 1/3 its original size.
Rather than accept responsibility, Swift are flatly refusing to accept that they have done anything wrong. They’ve washed it on previous occasions but are insisting that I return it to the manufacturer for a formal assessment, as they believe it’s a manufacturer issue...
Whilst I accept the burden of proof may be on me as the consumer, it’s clear that their process is deliberately designed to be as unhelpful & prohibitive as possible. It’s a shame as they’ve lost a loyal customer & shown themselves to be unprofessionally & unaccountable in the extreme.
Not worth the 1 star given.
Customer service was friendly but when picking up my Cerruti suit today they only go and ruin it by putting tram lines in the trousers.
This is basic stuff!
Thanks to Swift they've ruined the suit and my evening.
Generally clean well and have trousers tailored frequently with no problems. I took 2 stars off as on 2 occasions my items were not properly clean and I had to ask them to redo them. Still happy to use them.
no stars at all no proper service damaging clothes and really really bad customer service !!! I would not recommend this place at all!!
