Came here to visit with my son for his school trip. Lovely building, learned some interesting things about Jewish traditions etc, the boys got to wear the Jewish hat, I forget the name of it. Was fascinating to see the generous amount of food donated to their synagogue which they use for various reasons.

This is a very loving synagogue, we are always treated like family.

Following my visit to the Synagogue I was surprised that kids who do not wear the "Kippah" are not alowed to participate ( kids under 11). The main Rabbi came to talk to those kids who chose not to wear the Kippah and he was rude, aggressive and at time angry. He said more than three times that they are being "disrespectful" and those little kids were terrified and stoked by him. I had to intervene to stop him scaring the kids. The Rabbi who is an MBE was out of order. The whole experience was very negative whist we were trying to teach the kids to live in harmony. Last but not lost on the wall there is a picture which says " may the Lord bless the soldiers of Israel" and in the picture there is Israeli soldiers standing very proud, which I believe is a political stance and should not be there. I strongly advise schools to avoid this place and go to other Synagogue.
