When I stripped the paint from my Victorian mantelpiece, I discovered that it was Carrara marble, but most of the left vertical had been destroyed decades ago, and replaced by cement. So I asked around for an artist who does marbling. Keith came very highly recommended. A good musician has a good ear; a good artist has a good eye. Keith creatively matched the existing marble so well that nobody can tell where the real marble ends, and the fake marble begins. I defy anybody. 2 friends of mine are brothers, and both their parents were artists and art teachers. One used to run his own small building company. They peered at it hyper-critically, and nit-picked, saying: “I think he could have done a bit more at the bottom.” I said: “If you feel in different places for the thermal differences, you’ll find that the bottom bit is real marble.” They were speechless. Even they had to admit that it was an incredible job. So I unhesitatingly recommend Keith most highly. He is beyond professional. He is most pleasant company, and 1,000% trustworthy. If they allowed 6 stars, I'd award him 6. Nick in London N4

The 'Robson Organ' dated 1875, originally in a Church in Essex, has now been moved to All Hallows' Gospel Oak. The original casing and pipe work had all been painted cream. Keith Blackburn has completely restored the wooden case and taken it back to the original and staining it a most attractive natural colour At the same time the stencilling on the pipe work had all bee restored to is original condition. It is a quite remarkable piece of work, over which he took a great deal of trouble and skill; it should now remain in its excellent restored condition for a couple of centuries or more . The attention to detail is astonishing; the organ not only sounds good, but is a most beautiful sight to behold.
