Needs to include an adequate space for women to pray!! This is disturbing that in 2020, some mosques still don’t have spaces for women to pray. Men can get together and pray together but why are women left out of this? Especially if they are far away from home and need a place to pray.
Managed to find this place after walking for 15 minutes through Storm Dennis, only to be told they aren’t open to women. I was attending an event nearby and needed to pray. They wouldn’t even let me in for 5 minutes to say my prayers.
Wonderful resource for the Muslim community and indeed those wanting to find out more. Engaging community - of all sorts - but many are Bengali. Small mosque space at the bottom with further spaces upstairs for jummah or Friday prayers. Their committee are very active in considering local projects and supportive towards these. Even have an initiative to link with other local faith groups.
Pity that they may be forced out by landlord. Will be important that council provide an alternative venue for the worshipers.
Very good place of worship. May allah reward those participanted in it. Its a bit small and parking would be bit of difficulty.
