It was the best times of my life. I have forgotten most of the teacher names although, Mr O'Nions, Mr Rakes (who went off to Canada) and Alistair Friend (our headteacher - who head off to Scotland) still stands out the most to myself alongside Billy our Cypriot teachers assistant. These four really had a great impact on my life and though, I may never get to say it to their face I'll leave it here for all to read. Primary years truly does cement the foundations for growth, mentally and intellectually for a child - and this should truly be understood at a societal level and from the mindset of teachers. A passionate teacher will never be forgotten in the minds of the pupils, everyone else will be. And, though the children may not be able to voice their gratitude, they will look back from 10-20-30-40 years time and reminisce and thank you without you knowing. It is upsetting that the primary school was burnt down (not sure of the details) but I do know that they wanted to build high rise flats there and a petition took place to prevent it (through Wayne and his family, not sure of his full name - so kudos to you). Seems very suspicious. Nonetheless, a building from the 1880's now no longer exists and all our memories continue to be buried in our hearts never to be physically synced to what was the old Thomas Fairchild Primary school. To all the friends and teachers that made my childhood enjoyable - a big thank you!

If you want your kids taken in care send them here. Dishonest, fraudulent working practice of the children centre manager. Please steer away from the children centre and school.

Amazing staff and teachers who care for the children. My son is in year 5 and really happy. They focus on what he can do and not on what he can’t. I love the fact that they also have good quality clubs and support at school. The children’s centre is fantastic as well. Highly recommend. Changed my boy for the best. Thank you

Year 6 SUCKED ! The school put so much pressure on us if I hadn't had such a laid back mum I would've cracked under pressure. I was told " I read too many feminist books" because I had a friendly debate with my friend on why she wanted children when she grew up and why I didn't. And a teacher said this to me . I'm glad I got out of that hellhole. The Food was decent . And a small portion of teachers were great . I had a feeling this school took more care on attendance than actually education
