After spending over £800 on new suspension air bags for my car at Ray Moss Autos (which only took them a couple of hours to fit) I was disappointed to see that a warning light regarding my suspension came up on my vehicle a month later, all I wanted was for them to check that the previous work was carried out properly but instead was charged £40 for the privilege of checking my battery and a diagnostics report which was not explained to me properly. I would have not have paid for this but my card details were taken over the phone before the cost was explained to me. I was also having a service done which I had no problem paying for. When I wrote a review complaining about the level of service Ray Moss replied by stating that they had provided 1st class service by dropping my vehicle to my house after the work was carried out. The only reason it was dropped to my house was that it was Friday and they wanted to knock off early. What a joke! I have been using them for close to 4 years but recently I have noticed a change in attitude so maybe it’s personal? Who knows? I can personally only comment on the level of service provided which is currently on an unacceptable level. Hopefully they will improve as I believe in supporting local businesses. Best garage in essex! Trustworthy, reliable, reasonable and very friendly staff. Paul and Mike have looked after me on multiple occasions for any problems with my car, I don't have any complaints. Prices are always reasonable, and work is always completed to a fantastic standard. Overall a very impressive and professional garage who I will always use in future!

Have been using and recommending Ray Moss Autos for years. Paul and mike, what an absolute pleasure to deal with. Very very professional and courteous service and I would not take my car to anywhere else be it for a service a tyre or just information. That it why I have rated Ray Moss Autos the maximum 5 stars. Paul and his team have worked on my families cars for years and has always been trustworthy and the quality of work has been excellent. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Even during these difficult times with Covid, he always manages to help with a smile and nothing is too much trouble.
