Charming historical gardens. It’s good place for an evening stroll or coffee with family. Not huge enough for a run unless you keep going in circles you won’t be able to get much exercise. It’s popular among dog walkers so if you don’t mind getting interrupted by random unleashed pet dogs 🐕 you will like it.

Magnificent Palladian Villa in beautiful grounds with small lake and cascade, orangery full of camellias in flower in spring, lots of walks, autumn colour, expensive cafe with lots of outside seating. A great place to visit.

Much better in good weather. Crowded during covid. But amazing walks

A taste of Italy in almost heart of London. It's part of English Heritage that also look after the Stonehenge. Also its another world class attraction in London that doesn't ask people to pay for a entry fee (the grounds are free to roam around but the actual building is not) There are so many Roman era sites in UK but this Chiswick House's idea came from 18th century fashion trend of the royals who used to travel to Italy apparently to get away from then's nasty British weather. But whatever the reason, its a classy, elegant place that is close to Central London yet far from the usual tourist hotspots.

Beautifully designed garden, massive amounts of wild life, ponds, mini waterfalls. Feels a bit like Versailles 🤭 but in British edition. Loads of space to walk, picnic and enjoy outdoor.
