Globe Chemist

We are so lucky to have Globe in our neighbourhood!! They are so friendly and always ready to help with whatever problem you may have. I value their medical opinion and am so thankful to have a pharmacy I trust so close to home. Couldn't recommend more highly.

What makes this is a great pharmacy are the proprietors... they go out of their way to be helpful and attentive; whether it's recommendations, organising flu jabs, helping get set up with NHS paperwork, they go the extra mile. There's a genuine personal touch, it's a shop where the people behind the counter know your name (and those of my family)! It's obvious that this isn't just a job, it's something they take pride in. Five stars, folks!

Great chemist - always welcoming and helpful. It feels safe to come in even during the stressful Covid times. Applied the flu jab painlessly and managed to registration process for appointment seamlessly as well. Thank you!

I have lived in the local area for almost a year now and this has been my closest pharmacy ever since. I am pleased to say it is also the best pharmacy I've ever been a customer/patient of, and I've been picking up prescriptions for most of my life so I've been to a fair few for comparison. The service here is first class. The staff are very knowledgeable, incredibly polite and also very down to earth, they seem to know absolutely everyone by name upon entrance - which is both impressive and also gives a very welcoming feel. They always seem to be very well organised, and the shop has always been very clean and tidy when I've been there. In addition, the shop has always appeared to be well stocked and competitively priced. They have everything from general painkillers and vitamins, to everyday toiletries and sanitary products. - No doubt it goes further but these are all products that I've purchased here on a regular basis. During the pandemic they have gone above and beyond with letting people know that anything they don't have in stock, they can try to get. They generally notify via SMS/text message when prescriptions are ready to be collected and although these have taken longer generally during the pandemic, Globe has managed to stay on top of the situation and give relatively accurate time estimates for collections. Lastly, they also have a consultation room. I recently had my flu jab there and it was no longer than a 30 second process. Overall: very professional, very polite, very well organised, and therefore highly recommended.
