Cant be more pleased with how Fir Tree has diagnosed and repaired the recent fault in my Ford Mondeo with the interlock problem. I was prepared for a hefty bill but the guys were not at all looking to over charge me but were focused on what is the real problem. Though they took some time to do the repair, I was fully satisfied and happy that they sorted the problem at a very reasonable cost.

Very bad experience. When booked through bookmygarage.com, the website said the garage will contact me to confirm the pick up/drop off time which has never happened, I had to call them to confirm the drop off time slot. Their page also said they will provide a courtesy car but that was not the case when I arrived. 2nd, I booked MOT and full service. I do that normally because most garages do the service and check the car to make sure it will pass the MOT to save time and get clean history for your car, particularly when its obvious things. This garage, called me at around 12pm to say the car has failed the MOT and needs over £400 worth of parts and labour before it could pass again. When I asked what the faults are, they said there is no sufficient water in the windscreen washer and the tyre pressure system is flashing! (See picture 1). Luckily I didn’t go ahead to pay and told them just to complete the service. Next day, I put it through MOT elsewhere and told them to reset the tyre pressure before the test, it passed without any fault and without paying £400! (See picture 2). 3rd, when I arrived at the morning, they said it will be ready at 3pm. I told them I will come immediately after work at 5. I arrived at 5, and it wasn’t ready, I had to wait until 5:30. They punish you and ignore your car because you did not agree to pay for the parts. They also refused to give me any signed document for the service and just provided a checklist of what happened, other garages always give detailed signed report (See picture 3&4). I raised this with bookmygrage.com and they contacted the garage regarding this but I have received nothing to date (See picture 5). 4th, they are not Covid-19 friendly at all, the staff inspect your car interior without wearing gloves and return the car key without even basic Covid protocol. When I asked the guy at the reception about this, he said they do not believe the virus exists! I had to spend 20 minutes cleaning my car to protect myself and my family. a complete waste of money and 24 hour of my life.
