Spaces are narrow and in places the distance between opposite spaces is limited so you have to be careful when manoeuvring in and out. Access to the children's park, toilets and cliff top walk is easy. If you want to visit the sea front it is a short walk, but it does involve a long hill. Not an exhausting walk, but problematic if you have any mobility or fitness issues. The clifftop walk is flatter and doesn't involve any climbing.
Best of all the car park is free.
Lovely to have a free car park to enable an easy visit to such a beautiful coastline. Took our lunch to enjoy the view and fresh air...delightful! Highly recommend!
Good amount of spaces and surprisingly not too busy. Toilets on site too, which was helpful. Walk to the town was short but up quite a steep hill on the way back!

It's a lovely place to walk with dogs. There is a cafe and children's play area. You can walk from here around the coast to Barry Island. I have never done this but they say its a lovely walk. You can look out to sea and see on your left the Penarth Promenade.
