Reading other reviews it seems that there is a common thread regarding poor customer care and not answering the phone. In addition, other shoppers have had issues with repeat prescriptions like I have. Each month, I order my prescription through the website patient access. My doctor approves the prescription, whereupon it goes to Boots as my designated pharmacist. Almost every single month there's an issue. This time around I asked 'how can we improve the process so that there is no delay in my prescription?' After some whispering round the side, the chemist came out and in a fairly rude raised voice told me that my GP was at fault and that he needed to give me a six month script. He continued to tell me how difficult times were due to COVID, the administering of flu vaccines etc. For a fully automated process, I just don't understand what the issue is. Frankly terrible service.

Rude, intolerant and Incompetent. Avoid, especially if you're on a BLUE SCRIPT! They do not have the temperament, or professionalism to deliver.

The chemist is very unbalanced. I gave him a prescription in an incorrect format (antibiotics btw not some fun drugs), he immediately became very agitated, raising his voice and throwing his hands in the air. I called the GP service, and as I was explaining to them that the format was not ok, I made an unwise comment that the pharmacist is being very opinionated about the prescription format. As I was struggling to hear the operator due to a noise in the shop, I realized that the loud noise was actually coming from the pharmacist that completely flipped out. As he was yelling at me I had a deja vu and remembered that I witnessed him yelling at a guy once before, so I guess it’s his “normal” way of interacting with people
