See my review on Mercury Shopping Centre. I got fined £60 by the council for making a u turn to get into the car park. Additionally they charge a fee for parking! In this day and age where we're supposed to help our town centres this is ridiculous. Additionally you can't pay by card, you can only pay by coin. This is a classical tax evasion scheme. You're better off going to Lakeside.
Got to be the most grotty car parks in Romford. Its convenient for Asda Mercury shopping but not my first choice to park here.
Had my catalytic converter stolen in this car park last Christmas. Anxious everytime when parking there.
Informed Romford Life at the time asking them to retweet warning to their followers...not a murmur. Obviously more worried about what effect this would have on custom. However, good to see more cctv cameras were put in place.
Had my car hit twice now by fools driving either cars that are too big for them, or just cant drive at all, parking spaces are way too small, also they dont have CCTV in the carpark itself to identify who is hitting peoples cars, one others thing is the big pothole near the entrance at the barriers and ticket machines constantly breaking down.
Not enough shopping trolleys for asda and car park could do with a clean up
