Go2 Travel Insurance

I am unbelievably and absolutely disgusted in this company. No wonder they only have 2 stars in their reviews. Abroad on holiday in Cyprus with my partner and our 22 month old daughter. Lost/stolen wallet with all money in. Contacted Go2 Travel as they’re my travel insurance company. After 9 emails and 47 unanswered phone calls, I got a response 3 days later telling me if I have not had a reply In 40 days to contact them again!!! I am on holiday right NOW, not in 40 days time!!! As I am writing this I am still abroad with no funds, day 6 of no funds and this god awful bottom of the barrel insurance company told me to go elsewhere to get my money replaced as they’re too busy with COVID 19 claims!!! How unbelievably shocking is this? Left with a 22 month old baby, NO help, NO support, NOTHING!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY WHATSOEVER. QUICK ENOUGH TO TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT DON’T GIVE A FLYING F#%k when it comes to making a claim. I go abroad 4 times as year and I haven never, ever in my 25 years made a claim but this company has put me off going abroad again!!! Insurance is taken out to help with any unforeseen mishaps that may occur at the time, not 40 days later!!!! This company needs shutting down and having their license revoked with immediate effect!! I have already been on to the FOS, Ministry of Justice and emails with evidence of this shambolic company sent to multiple national newspaper outlets!!!

Dear Go2 Travel, I would just like to say thank you. I am surprised by the negative comments, especially about the claims. I had an email from Travel Claim Services early on in the process asking me for all my bank details in order to send me the money IF my claim was agreed . I thought this was an unusual thing to do and in fact thought it was a scam. However the payment has now arrived . Best wishes to all the staff and keep safe.

Awaiting for a response on my claim for 5 months- no update whatsoever. Absolutely impossible to reach out to them and get an update via phone or email they just send you from one email address to another and it’s going on in circles.

The worst insurance company I have ever had to deal with. I filed a claim and had to keep following up on this claim by ringing them up to four times they told me my supporting documents did not attach or couldnt be opened. Note I had to call severally before I found this out. In addition to this, twice I was told my email was missed. It has taken almost 2 months and still haven't had any success with them. Definitely avoid this one.

Go elsewhere while you still can!!!! Wanted to check the details of a quote, what it covered etc, tried to call at 9.30am but just kept ringing until it diverted to a voicemail asking to leave your no and they will get back to you, left my details and 3 hours later no one had called back, called again leaving my details again 4 hours later and still no one has called me back, I also sent an email to there email listed on there website, but no response from that either. I would dread to think the hell you would be going through if you ever needed to make a claim from this insurer, especially if you are abroad as the don't seem to respond to any calls or emails, after this experience I would get insurance elsewhere if I was you!!!
