Very upset and saddened at the service received at this cleaner. I live close by and have taken many items to be dry cleaned here and was pleased with the cleaned and pressed shirts etc I had a friend who stayed with me in August and she had a Nicole Farhi cardigan that was an exclusive design and which was gifted by her mother who had passed away recently. It had never been dry cleaned and my friend asked if I could take it to a cleaner I use. I took it along with my winter items to Mcgill. I went to collect all pieces only to be told my friend’s cardigan is missing.i paid for all pieces anyway. I was told I would be called with an update as to finding the piece and this never happened. I had to continuously call in and was given excuses. This continued for a month. I asked to speak to the owner. This is was not possible. I had to then speak with the cleaning factory myself and all of a sudden the missing cardigan was located and sent to McGill to pick up. TWO MONTHS later I went in to pick up the cardigan and it was totally ruined. In such bad condition and the care instructions label was cut off. I was shocked and had to present this to my friend. She was devastated. It has cost me MY £400 to give as compensation to my friend PLUS the loss of a dear friendship. I am appalled and the service is was the worst experience.
