Unprofessional and Damaging Service. Took my Alfa to this garage after a issue with the fuel system and warning appearing, they were happy to have a look. The car was running but in limp mode. Some basic analysis and research online points towards a particular part and I let them know this. The car was with them for just over 3 weeks. I had little to no communication from them, I was having to chase every time I wanted an update (once a week which I don't consider to be too much really). When they did give me an update it wasn't very coherent and hard to understand what they had actually done. Eventually they gave me a choice to have the car back or send the ECU off, they had basically given up. I requested the car back at this point. I went to pick and when I tried to start it wouldn't stay on. The car was now in a worst state than when it arrived and they were little to no help in getting it started, they had washed their hands of it. They were not even able to tell me what they had actually checked and tested on the car raising my suspicions further. After speaking to various people in the trade they agreed that the garage was not operating as you'd expect from a reputable business and I had a recommendation for another garage. Upon having the car transported to the next garage they confirmed that the previous garage, Gonnella Brothers, hadn't put the car back together correctly and they were astonished that they had left it in the state it was in. The next garage had the car for a total of 48 hours where they replaced the part I originally suspected and the car was back running at 100%. I'm extremely disappointed by way it was dealt with by Gonnella Brothers and that they claim to be 'specialists' yet have no actual knowledge to back it up. Waste of time and effort and made the car worse off. I would avoid at all costs if you would not like to be messed around or have your car be worse off.

Over charged me for my MOT, put a fault on it that didn’t exist and never explained some other faults to me or give me prices when I asked for the repair quote. Not very professional in my opinion. I took it to Halfords and they provided a much better service and cheaper too.

Took my Jaguar in for an MOT after IAutoUK of Croydon tried to con me out of £700 after they said it failed. The guys at Gonnella Brothers retested it and it passed. Thanks guys your the best...👌🏾

Phoned for a service one year later and the guy new the colour and make of my car straight away. Car was serviced and had an mot. they made sure it was sterile for collection asking me to open the doors. Will definitely continue using Gonnella Brothers.
