The first two years of tgs havnt even been that bad however ever since we have gone into covid the teachers seem to give us a lot of material all at once. I have heard teachers multiple times say that there is no time in lessons to do work and so we end up having to teach our selves the material. This makes it really hard to balance all of my other work with homework and revision and now i even have to teach myself at times. I am particularly disappointed by the maths department. I have had a teacher walk out of the lesson because people were talking and stop the lesson completely. This makes it really hard to learn anything barring in mind maths is such a hard subject i don’t think the teacher should act this way for some students who are talking. In multiple lessons we also have teachers who say things which make people upset meaning that they begin to disrupt lessons instead of doing work affecting others in learning hard things which won’t be taught again. I also would like to make a complaint about how the school has very negative energy. The teachers don’t smile very often there is exceptions to this as some teachers do but majority of them don’t. The teachers are also very harsh with expectations of us. I think that if you have never done anything bad before or gotten in trouble when you do something by accident you should get a warning before getting punished. This also makes student overly stressed and affects education. I have found myself multiple times of not being able to do any work in maths as my maths teacher is constantly more worried about things like the attitude of the students and even told us that she was disappointed of our work. I have never even seen her smile and at this point in tgs i feel as it’s about getting a good grade instead of actually enjoying the learning. In tgs i feel rushed stressed and under pressure and i don’t think the teachers are very good at making our school a good and positive environment. I have even cried in classes without teachers even saying anything and just carrying on with lessons like nothing is wrong. In tgs i feel like it’s just about passing and making yourself look the best i almost feel like it’s a competition. I also feel that the teachers don’t appreciate student efforts as the students who earn awards are always the same students and even with all of the effort i put into my work i don’t get acknowledged by teachers as much as other students do even though they have put in half the effort.

My daughter got anxiety and depression from going to this school and the teachers did absolutely nothing. why this is 5 stars I don’t know but it should be shutdown after what my daughter went through. they should be ashamed of themselves. don’t EVER send your daughter here. vial school.

This school does not care about students wellbeing and simply pushes them away. Some of the teachers do not know how to teach and are just a waste of students time. This school has upset many students and the head teacher lies for money, please choose a better school to send your children too as this is a waste of time. And now I've heard they are mixing forms up, this school is an absolute joke

A bad school! Some of the teachers here are really mean and don’t care a thing about the children here. When people get bullied there the teachers don’t do a thing and just sit there. If there is an friendship issue they would egnore it and make your child feel worse. Makes children depressed and the teaching isn’t that well. The students here get really stresses out with how the teachers teach. Also the teachers won’t accept any explanation and will say that is an excuse even when you are telling the truth and if it was a big problem. They expect everyone to have a computer and printer at home to do homework but not everyone is hat rich. The people there are really racist and the teachers have favourites which means they only pick that person in class and all the other students would be treated unfairly. The teacher’s favourite wouldn’t get detention easily and would get chances but the other students would get detention making it really unfair.

one issue I have with TGS is that mr Cunningham has not been made the head of school yet even though he’s been here for like almost a year now ? Honestly I don’t even know what this school would do without Mr Cunningham! periodt he is the only relevant orangism and that’s on tha luv xx this school doesn’t deserve Mr Cunningham at all, show the man sum respect or you’ll be catching these hands also may I just say, don’t any of you DARE treat him as if ur higher than him because ur absolutely most certainly not and will never be as great as Cunningham!
