As an experienced rock guitarist I found Greg to be knowledgeable enough to give me some work that helped with my playing. He is a friendly, dedicated, and patient teacher who will help you get where you want to be. I have been involved with some class projects which I thought were invaluable to all levels of pupil including beginners and Greg takes care of each pupil with equal care and attention - highly recommended.
I have been a student of Greg’s for 5 years and HIGHLY recommend him as a teacher. I had not played guitar in nearly 15 years and was searching for a teacher to help me regain my lost skills, in addition to elevating my playing to become a better, more polished musician. The progress I’ve made in the last 5 years is immeasurable!!! Greg is a highly accomplished musician with a real passion for music, and he truly loves to play and teach nearly every style. My personal interest is rock, which of course he plays brilliantly! Look no further if you are in need of a great and patient teacher who can work with students at all levels.
I was a complete beginner when I first got in touch with Greg and he eased me into things and made my lessons a real joy. I went from having no experience to performing (and singing) in front of people within 6 months. The lessons are always fun and the targets to achieve are all realistic and challenging. I can't recommend Greg highly enough.
I chose Greg because I wanted to both learn guitar and also learn how to perform. Greg’s combination of one to one lessons and regular student events gives a unique opportunity to learn from an experienced guitarist and also experience what it is like to perform live, sharing the experience with a friendly audience of other guitar students. Highly recommended.
I played Bass guitar from my teens but hadnt touched an instrument for 10 years when just 4 years ago I took up guitar and got Greg to introduce me to 2 alien strings and even more alien concepts like blues boxes and the CAGED system. He arranged a student gig night, seeing me onstage for the first time in 25 years and I got the bug back. Now I play lead guitar in a band doing 2 - 3 paid gigs a month. Greg's teaching gave me the confidence to restore a life long passion. Go Greg and thanks for the push.
