I don't usually leave reviews but I've been very impressed with the quality of the lessons that my son has had recently at the Holland Park Golf School; they have been exceptionally good. The instructor, Sean Simpson, is a very experienced coach who teaches with patience and precision so that correct techniques are instilled and developed. I've extended the initial course of 6 lessons to 12 as progress was steady and improvements noticeable week on week. Practise between lessons was encouraged as essential; a good habit that my son quickly realised the value of. I feel these lessons have provided an excellent grounding in the sport and therefore a good investment. I am more than happy to recommend this golf school and instructor.

A really terrible experience with the teacher, Sean. He was so unpleasant, and genuinely mean, that I did not return for 4 of the lessons I had paid in advance for. I would advise finding a more friendly teacher anywhere else.

I took the beginner golf lessons with Sean over the years. His approach is quite structured, and that helped a great deal in building up solid fundamentals. I still have a long way to be a good golf player; however, whenever people asked me who my coach was when they saw the way I swing, I felt I have been fortunate to have Sean! I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who wants to play golf.

Eager to get back to the Golf School Sean Simpson came strongly recommended to me by friends as a golf professional earlier this year and as a total beginner, I was fortunate to have had 4 golf lessons before the current Covid-19 crisis erupted. Sean is passionate about the sport and has taught me the initial rules of grip, alignment, posture and stance which I have been practising at home in the absence of any lessons. Sean’s patience, deep understanding and knowledge of golf have given me the urge and incentive to know more and to continue with my initial 12-lesson package as soon as the lockdown is lifted. I can highly recommend Sean’s golf school to any person who either wishes to start with this great sport later in life as I did or to any player who wishes to improve his or her technique and skill of the sport.
