Two hours parking costs £3. Plenty of time to enjoy the view from the viewpoint, just a few minutes walk away. All day parking for £7 if you fancy following one of the several waymarked trails. The river views are quite astonishing and likely to be spectacular in the coming weeks as the trees get their autumn colours.

Excellent car park. Costs £7.20 all day, the machine is cash only but you can pay online or by phone. There are lots of short and longer walks nearby with stunning views. The paths in the immediate area are good and the trails are well marked although the footpaths aren't. Be aware if you walk towards Offa's Dyke some of the paths are completely overgrown and impassable. Symonds Yat is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and the By- ways are legally restricted and motor bikes are not allowed. Please respect this and help keep the area as it is. There were beautiful deer with magnificent antlers in the woods. Will come back again.

Symonds Yat is magnificent - we go for climbing but loads of stuff to do. My main gripe with the car park is that it is cash (which I don't carry about now) or signing into a website which is not the most intuitive especially hard with a poor phone signal. Just install a contactless card payment machine. So much better.

First time here in years. Plenty of parking, toilets and cafe/lodge for food and drink. Stunning views from various viewpoints and a few different walking trails to choose from. Can get very busy and parking can cost if staying for several hours. Well worth a visit.

Nice views over the valley from the viewing point, with a cafe/little gift shop. There are some walking trails through the forest but I didn't have time to try them out.
