Feels like there has been an ownership change . Service from the pharmacy has definitely dropped (used to be great and I should have left 5 star reviews). Now very hard to get through on the phone and they no longer seem to acknowledge long term customers in the way they used to. Also they have had the most expensive basic face masks of any pharmacy on the high road. Feels like management is putting profits before service which usually backfires. Having said they the staff on the front desk have a tough job and they handle it well - hence 3 stars rather than 1.

Yesterday i went to this pharmacy to buy medicine on prescription which they charged me almost the double the price when i compared with other pharmacies and then i called pharmacy and asked why they charged too much for this medicine , the guy on the phone said because it was bank holiday thats why we charged double, please be warn about the prices on bank holidays, and he was laughing and showing no respect over the phone, i said then you need to mention this fact to your customers. will never ever go in this pharmacy.

They have every medicine, perfumes and gifts for children. Very polite and friendly staff. I have been going to them since 1996.

I have been collecting prescriptions from Westbury Chemist for years.I chose this chemist in particular because of it opening times and location. I usually phone the chemist to get my prescription ready for collection just to save time. Today I made about three phone calls to the chemist in the morning, no one answered the phone. This evening about 22:47 GMT, I made another call to the chemist. At about 23:07 GMT a gentle answered the phone. I made it know to him that they are not answering the phone and this is about the fourth phone call that I have made to the chemist today. I chose to collect the prescriptions from them because of who they are ie well known in the area. I could have gone to a chemist which is two minutes from my house but I chose them instead. The gentleman's reply was " if you're not happy with our service I can return the prescription to the NHS and you can go and collect it from there". Very shocking. Streatham may not be an affluent part of London but the Streatham Community made Westbury Chemist what it is today, from one shop to now a bigger shop.

First of all their customer skills are zero. They did not have any respect for their customers. They also charged a lot of money for a prescription where most pharmacies £7 - £9 per prescription. This chemist charged me £40 for two prescriptions which is ridiculous.
