Well maintained public park tended to by volunteers. This space is for the main, looked after by volunteers and it did shine. There are several sections here including tennis courts, a pavilion and an orchard.

I played in this park 50 yrs ago and recently started going with my granddaughter and the dog it's such a lovely park to walk round and feed the squirrels and birds it would be nice if the bowling greens and tennis were still an option but it is still a lovely park

I've visited this Park since living on College Road as a kid in the 1980s. It was once beautiful and impeccably kept (especially the bowling greens and clock flower display). Since the savage council cuts from central government, it has become a shabby shadow of what it once was...Still, it's much needed, as an area of greenspace in polluted Sefton.
