Beautiful grounds. Aggressive goose lol. He/she didn't like me. The building is beautiful inside and out.
Visited Parc Howard yesterday for a walk. What a fantastic park it is with lots of different areas. Tennis courts, bowls greens, children's areas plus a lido and many trees, well kept flower borders and hidden areas. Wish the bandstand was being renovated though.
The best park to take the kids and dogs for a day out. The duck house called duckingham palace and goose hall for the geese are brilliant as well. 5 stars easy.
A beautiful park with an amazing mansion house where you can explore the museum rooms to discover the wealth of history from the town of Llanelli.... and it's all free!! 😁
Lovely, varied walks on this stunning park. Maintained by enthusiastic staff plus volunteers. They do a grand job. It's a pity the old bandstand is in bad repair and no longer in use. It must have been magnificent in its heyday. A wonderful fairytale playground, structures made from wood, is a delight for infants. Tennis courts behind serve older enthusiasts. A 'secret', sunken memorial garden with two benches gives the opportunity to sit and reflect. An extensive field is an open playground for all, dogs alike. My Nell demands to be brought here on an almost daily basis. Unfortunately she isn't allowed into the museum in the hall. Another pleasure still awaits me.
